We'd like to introduce you to our Portuguese Water Dogs that live with us underfoot. We do not kennel raise our dogs as we feel that a Portuguese Water Dog is for life and deserve all the love and attention. They have the free run of the house when we are present and are always a loved member of our household. We hope you enjoy the pics of our dogs and hopefully learn more about our family. "Canadian Champion Keeva Bay's Seaward Siren Song" aka "Siren" is a Black and White Wavy girl that will be joining our family. She is out of Best in Specialty Show "Am/Can CH. Pouch Cove's Orion Leal" X "Am/Can CH. Drydock's at Keeva Bay". We are very excited to be able to show this girl as she has a lot to offer. Parents are both very strong in the pedigree and she is entered in the Futurity Class for the PWDCA National Specialty 2008. We cannot wait to show her so look for her in the upcoming shows in 2008. "Sailmate's Seaward Breeze" aka "Echo" is a Black Wavy Girl who is sired by Multi Group Placing and Best of Breed Winner "Am/Can Ch. Raffle's Quacker Jack" and "Can. Ch. Eauso Spectacular". She was born on March 10, 2008 and has a very awesome pedigree that we hope to add to our future breeding program here at Seaward. She boasts many of the top kennels in the USA such as Pouchcove, Questar and Pinehaven to name a few. Her sire was ranked Top 5 in 2003 beating out many BIS winners for this ranking. We are looking forward to showing her later this year so stay tuned for more updates on this wonderful girl. "Canadian Champion Jewel de Agua Phoenix Rising Seaward" aka "Bacci" She is sired by "Multi Best in Show, Award of Excellence, Int'l/Am/Can Ch. Sweetmeadow's Forever in Blue Jeans" x "Int'l/Can. Ch. Jewel de Agua Black Orchid". She was born on 7-26-09. We have been waiting for a nice brown bitch to be born here at Seaward and unfortunately, we were not able to produce one here so we were very fortunate to be able to acquire "Bacci" from Katrina Jackson at Jewel de Agua PWDS in Washington State. "Canadian Champion & BPIG Seaward's Wiccan Charm" aka "Wicca" is our newest addition here at Seaward. She is sired by"GCH Am/BISS Can. Ch. Del Sur's Keno of Cascade AOM" aka "Keno" is a Top 5 PWD in the States as well as a Multi Best of Breed/Group Winner that has been a Westminster Best of Breed Winner for 2008. Keno was also able to take the 2009 Canadian National Specialty by going Best in Specialty Show. He has a powerful, balanced and exceptional breed type and movement. profuse wavy coat, substantial bone/head, well inclined shoulders and great rear. Sailmate's Seaward Breeze aka "Echo" also has fantastic type, great muscling and rear with beautiful movement. Wicca has many outstanding kennels in her pedigree such as Pinehaven, Pouchcove and Del Sur to name a few and will bring much with her pedigree to our breeding program. Wicca received a "Best Puppy in Group" award at her first show in Castlegar, BC and her first point. Wicca finishes her Canadian Championship at the Elsie Murray Canine Society Show shown by Aaron Andriash.

"Seaward Sirensong Elphaba" aka "Elphie" is our newest addition here at Seaward. She is sired by "Am. Ch. Driftwood's Stole your Thunder" aka "Thunder" is a multi-group and breed winner in the States. He has a powerful, balanced and exceptional breed type and movement. profuse wavy coat, substantial bone/head, well inclined shoulders, great rear and a very wonderful temperament. Thunder weighs 60lbs. At the National Specialty in California 2010 he made the cut in tough competition of over 100+ males in the Best of Breed ring. He is sired by Multiple Best in Show and Specialty Show "MBISS/BIS Am. Ch. Questar's Thunder and Lightening" who is the 2003, 2004 and 2005 PWDCA National Specialty Best of Breed winner as well as receiving many Award of Merits. He is also a Best In Show winner in an All Breed Dog Show. Her Dam is our very own "Canadian Champion Keevabay's Seaward Sirensong" This was a fantastic pairing and we have high hopes for our little girl "Elphie"
