We'd like to introduce you to our Portuguese Water Dogs that live with us underfoot. We do not kennel raise our dogs as we feel that a Portuguese Water Dog is for life and deserve all the love and attention. They have the free run of the house when we are present and are always a loved member of our household. We hope you enjoy the pics of our dogs and hopefully learn more about our family. "Canadian Champion Keeva Bay's Seaward Siren Song"aka "Siren" is a Black and White Wavy girl that will be joining our family. She is out of Best in Specialty Show "Am/Can CH. Pouch Cove's Orion Leal" X "Am/Can CH. Drydock's at Keeva Bay". We are very excited to be able to show this girl as she has a lot to offer. Parents are both very strong in the pedigree and she is entered in the Futurity Class for the PWDCA National Specialty 2008. We cannot wait to show her so look for her in the upcoming shows in 2008. "Canadian Champion Seaward's Lyra Belacqua" aka "Jinx" is a Black and White Curly homebred girl. She is out of our "Am/Can/Aust. CH. Dassin Too Right I Am" X "Kyessiline's Ariel". Jinx originally went to another show home but ended up back into our home and what a joy it was to have her back with us. She has a very inky black coat, great movement and Enzo's winning personality. We were expecting some Browns in this litter and were pleasantly surprised. She will be entered in her first show very shortly so stay tuned for updates on our little girl. Health Tests: Optigen - Normal, CERF (PW-6296/2008-5). *** Jinx gets a Best of Breed at the Pacific Kennel Club Show on 7-24-08 getting her 2 Points towards her Canadian Championship. She also get's another Best of Breed at the Glacier View Kennel Club Show by beating out a campaigned Special at 6.5 months old. She now has 9 points towards her Canadian Championship. Jinx is now a "Canadian Champion" by getting her last 2 points in the Bred by Exhibitor Class. Jinx takes a 3 Point Major at the Rose City Oregon Show with handler, Michelle Yeadon. ***
"Sailmate's Seaward Breeze" aka "Echo" is a Black Wavy Girl who is sired by Multi Group Placing and Best of Breed Winner "Am/Can Ch. Raffle's Quacker Jack" and "Can. Ch. Eauso Spectacular". She was born on March 10, 2008 and has a very awesome pedigree that we hope to add to our future breeding program here at Seaward. She boasts many of the top kennels in the USA such as Pouchcove, Questar and Pinehaven to name a few. Her sire was ranked Top 5 in 2003 beating out many BIS winners for this ranking. We are looking forward to showing her later this year so stay tuned for more updates on this wonderful girl.*** "Echo" went to her very first show at the Fraser Valley Kennel Club show and was able to get a Best of Breed, Winners Female and Best Puppy in Breed for her first 2 Point Major Owner/Handled. Echo was able to get another 1 point by going Best Puppy in Breed, Winners Female and a Best of Breed. ***
"Jewel de Agua Phoenix Rising Seaward" aka "Bacci" is our newest addition here at Seaward. She is sired by "Multi Best in Show, Award of Excellence, Int'l/Am/Can Ch. Sweetmeadow's Forever in Blue Jeans" x "Int'l/Can. Ch. Jewel de Agua Black Orchid". She was born on 7-26-09. We have been waiting for a nice brown bitch to be born here at Seaward and unfortunately, we were not able to produce one here so we were very fortunate to be able to acquire "Bacci" from Katrina Jackson at Jewel de Agua PWDS in Washington State. We are looking forward to showing her in 2010 so look out for this special girl. Health Tests: Optigen - Normal
