Well, it's now 2 weeks and the kittens are doing very well. The boys are looking amazing with their large rosettes and random patterning. It's hard to believe how much they have grown so far and with their eyes now open for a few days, they are very inquisitive.
We are expecting 2 exciting litters for the start of 2009 so look out for more updates on our Bengals.
Dog show season is now coming to a close for 2008 and we are so very happy with our accomplishments. We were able to accomplish our goals this year by Championing the following and that includes 2 of our very own homebred Champions:
Can. Ch. Seaward's Geisha Disco Boy Can. Ch. Seaward's Lyra Belacqua Can. Ch. Keevabay's Seaward Sirensong Can. Ch. Sharmink's Diabo do Bandido Am. Ch. Dassin Too Right I Am
We are also very happy that "Bandit" was picked for the Nutmeg PWD 2009 Calendar as February's boy and so are his new owners.
We are very fortunate to also have "Enzo" qualify for Eukanuba for being in the Top 7 PWDs in Canada for 2007. We could not believe it when we saw this and his breeders are also extremely happy with Enzo's accomplishments.
We have bred 2 of our very own and both have done well here in Canada as well as across the border. Jinx was able to get her Canadian Championship by the tender age of 8 months by beating a well campaigned Specials as well as taking her class in her first US show by going 1st in the 9-12 month puppy bitch class. Disco was also able to finish with ease and in his first show in the US, was also able to get a Best of Breed over a Special and tough competition to get his first 3 Point Major.
We also have 2 girls that are also trying to finish their Canadian Championships and are almost there so we will have 2 new Champions for 2009
Another exciting piece of news is that we have a new boy coming to us which carries heavily for Pinehaven type that will do very well for our breeding program. He will be joining Seaward PWD's in early 2009.
Stay tuned for more news.
